Two Years Later
Two years of lockdown later, the world creaks back to “normal” — Emily and Ryan meet again, agreeing to eight dates to decide if they’re meant to be. A Production Design approach of invisible realism and authentic texture: environments built as functional, three-dimensional ecosystems and used as psychological mirrors for the characters moving through them. Grounded rather than glossy — this is a love story shot through with the messy, unstaged reality a rom-com usually smooths away. The design captures the specific aesthetic friction of a world shifting gears: the messy remnants of isolation-era home offices set against the clinical, sterile public spaces of a society trying to find its way back together. And among all of it, two people fall in love.
